Audience Feedback- Editing

In obtaining feedback from audiences in regards to the editing within our music video, I have created a questionnaire to be filled out by my target market of teenagers. The questions I wanted answered in order to find out the audiences opinions were; "Do you think our editing within our music video is appropriate for our genre?", "Do you think the editing for the music video appeals to you?" and "Do you feel the editing within the music video conveys a certain meaning?"

Here is what the questions look like in questionnaire format:

Do you think our editing within our music video is appropriate for our genre?

Yes               No

Do you think the editing for the music video appeals to you?

Yes                  No

Do you feel the editing within the music video conveys a certain meaning?

Yes                      No

Question 1 Results-
15- YES        0-NO
This overall positive feedback tells me that the effects, transitions, etc. used within our video were received well. The cuts placed in time with the beat and a black/white filter was used just to name a few. This was taken from our similar texts videos, where we looked at other rap videos we could take inspiration from, which seemed to pay off.

Question 2 Results
15-YES       0-NO
A main focus for us within our music video was the editing, and it took a large amount of time in order to achieve our final music video. The recipients of the questionnaire seemed to enjoy the editing as all the answers were "yes".

Question 3 Results
14-YES     1-NO
Our original idea behind making the video black and white was that it would negate colour which related to the songs lyrics and stopped us judging the characters by their skin colour. This may have resonated within our target audience as the majority of feedback was positive.
