Embedded Music video from the rap genre to exemplify my research:

This conventional music video takes all the stereotypical aspects of the rap genre and displays it all at once. I believe for my music video, I would like to stem away slightly from the generic rap and decide on a more cinematic approach to the genres stereotypes. The rapper Kendrick uses this technique in his music videos, using cinematic shots in order to keep the stereotypical elements, e.g. money, power and women, but in a more stylized way. One example is his music video for the song "Alright":
